Perhaps you’ve already read this story about the added excitement for the McLennan Community College Dance Company and the group’s emergency landing on the return trip to Texas after winning first place in Division III in the National Dance Association’s Collegiate National Championship in Daytona Beach.Craig Allen, whose daughter, Paige, 19, is captain on the team, updated us this morning to tell us that his daughter said only a few bags of luggage were damaged when fire-suppression foam was released in the cargo hold.
He also says it turns out that there wasn’t a fire in the cargo hold after all, but a smoke detecting going off.
